BauART Residenz

We explore the connection between craft and artistic installation and deal with local infrastructure needs. In collaboration with local craftspeople, artists from the BauART Residence design construction camps in which interested youths and young adults, apprentices from the participating crafts businesses and travelling journeymen design places in the cooperation projects.

In 2022, the residency could not yet take place in its planned form. The first artistic conversions of building sites have made a start, such as “Von Kartoffelrosen und brennenden Baumkronen”. In 2023, more information and calls can be found here.
