Heidi Vargensdottir is a multimedia artist fascinated by, among other things, the art of the scary and the absurd. She likes to orchestrate experiences with images, sound, voice and other sensory stimuli, whereby spectators and performers interact together in spaces and create the unexpected together.
For Halloween on 31.10.2022, in collaboration with Heidi Vargensdottir, we will transform the HdW into an eerily beautiful house of horrors.
It’s a bus station in the middle of nowhere. “Your bus goes to Terminal C. But make sure you catch the bus. Who knows if another one will come…?” On the second floor are those who have gone mad from waiting. Creepy surprises and long-forgotten characters lurk in the long corridors. The brawl in the pub goes round and round forever. In the hall are those who have forgotten they are waiting. One keeps repacking her suitcase. A few others roll the dice. When the bell rings, the brilliant monster ball begins for all those who never made it out of the haunted house.
