We are opening our doors in Heinersdorf and Buchholz for the Open Studio Weekend:

The DoK annual exhibition, curated by NBM (Neue Brandenburgische Malerei), will open in the Haus des Wandels.

The participating artists will be present and, on request, may even let you peek into their studios, explain what DoK 15518 is all about or chat about the lives of artists who work with collective concepts in the countryside. The exhibition pitches its tent in the space between remembering and changing, fleeing and staying, because its heart is broken, but it is still there.

On Saturday at 1 p.m., there will be a guided tour of the 3000 m2 former boarding school, which has developed into a place for community and local art and cultural networks over the last five years.

The doors will also open at old and new LandKunstLeben locations in Buchholz. Artists will show their studios and locations of the newly emerging KPG (Cultural Production Community), as a permeable space between the village center and the countryside.
